Meet our tour guides!

We believe that the most important component in the Israel tour is the tour guide.
All of our guides are well versed in scriptures and specialize in the
geography and history of the land. Please meet some of our wonderful partners:

Ari Singer (certified guide)

Originally from Long Island, NY, Ari graduated John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York with a Bachelor of Science in Security Management. Ari enlisted in the IDF as an infantryman Machine gunner in the Netzach

Yehuda Battalion. After the army, Ari continued his studies in the National Tour Guide course, receiving his certification as a licensed guide. Ari loves showing people the side of Israel that is not portrayed in the news and hopes you come see the land he calls home.

Yoni Ben Tzedef (certified guide)

Yoni has been guiding for 9 years. He recently completed his B.A. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Archaeology and Bible Studies, and is currently beginning an M.A. combining the two in Biblical Archaeology.

Mickey Bar Neder (certified guide)

Mickey studied psychology, archeology and international relations at the Hebrew University while founding a field school in the  Jordan Valley. Soon afterwards he became part of a group that established the first community in Samaria

where he and his family has been living for the past 35 years.  As a tour guide, Mickey guides all over Israel and has specialized training in guiding the physically and mentally challenged as well. He particularly enjoys guiding Christian supporters of Israel to the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.  As a licensed therapist in guided imagery, he incorporates this technique into his guiding in order to enhance the experience of touring the Holy Land of Israel.

Yishay Avital (certified guide)

AKA the story teller, Yishay has been guiding English speaking tourists for the last 20 years. He uses a compelling storytelling method to convey a dramatic and accurate sense of both ancient and modern Israel, as well as the Jewish

connection to the land of Israel. Geology, geography, archeology, Bible study, zoology, military history, botany and other topics are interspersed or highlighted throughout the tour, depending on the particular interest of the group members.

Raanan Macarov (certified guide)

I was born in 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA. I joined the Israeli Defense Forces. I served the full three years of regular army service, plus a short period as a Career Officer with the Corps of Combat Engineers. Presently, I hold the rank of Major. I have guided

groups of all denominations, both Jewish and Christian. I pride myself on punctuality, ethics, and warmth. As a hobby, I am a very active mountain biker. I often combine bike tours or a hike in my itineraries. The smaller groups I drive in my personal van. Upon request, a bigger vehicle can be arranged.

I am happily married for 36 years now, and the father of two.
